Idle problems after BOV and resonectomy

so I've got a 2008 GT spec.b
so before I got It, it had been tuned by mrt (XB kit) so exhaust and all
Now I installed a gfb bov a couple weeks ago, and had to do a bit of adjustment to keep it from dropping to almost a stall at a stop (pretty much only venting a tiny bit to air just so it's audible and tightened the screw until no more low idling)
Just did a resonectomy with the hks funnel today
And my car will pretty much go to under 100 revs and only just keep itself from stalling
Now will this mean a retune/reflash?
Because if that's the case, for now I might save my money for a bit, and just do without the bov and the funnel (they dont make a difference in performance anyway, just the **** factor of louder sucking and blowing... if you know what I mean
because as far as I know a retune will be pretty costly...
Any and all help is appreciated

The bov isn't the problem as much as Intake seems to be
Maybe the ECU just has to catch up with the added air flow?

you have a vac leak somewhere.
Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Those things hate BOV's which vent anything to atmosphere. Your ECU doesn't know what's going on with it. On my old one, i ended up just going for a Turbosmart Kompact full-recird BOV. Still very audible with the intake i had on it. I also removed the resonator box on mine aswell, no problems.
As it's already been tuned to a suit the engine how it was, it will freak out if anything is out of those parameters, which it is with the BOV. Switch back to the factory one or go 100% recirc.
What BOV have you used?

resonator is pre-MAF so won't have an effect on measured air flow so shouldn't be causing idle problems.
put the factory BOV back on. venting BOV's are always troublesome.
btw: the lowest marker above 0 on the tacho is 500 rpm, then 100 rpm steps up to 1000rpm.

Haven't been on here in a while
Problem isn't as bad now? I did some tinkering with the spring pre-load etc
I still drops to pretty much 0rpm on the dial if I like accelerate up my driveway (pretty steep driveway) and stop hard at the top in front of the garage
I'll look into that turbosmart bov, What did it sound like? And how loud?
I've got the GFB it's pretty much all the way closed to recirc (I'll show a photo when I get to my car)
If I open the valve up anymore, 1. It's way to loud
And 2. It pretty much stalls every time I pull up

I have never tried my gfb on full recirculation, I might give that a go and see what it sounds/runs like

my GFB respons on my GT forester is set to full recirc at WOT you get blow off noise in the intake and under light throttle you get some flutter in the intake. my resonater in the guard is replaced with a PVC elbow and some stright drain pipe heated and bellmouthed
never had stalling issues

You will probably find running it on full recirc will give you best results. Like i said, without a tune, the factory ECU hates any minor changes to the intake path. Give it a go and let us know how she runs!

Try tightening the spring up most of the way on the BOV, if it's too loose and bleeds any air at idle then the car will act like it has a vacuum leak (because it technically does)
Tighten it as far as it goes and see if it helps, then start to loosen it again until the flutter calms down... or just leave it all the way tight and enjoy the flutter

No more issues anymore, tightened the spring pretty much all the way (1 or 2 turns off), but no flutter? Thought that was a bit weird, but I'm not complaining
Just barely enough to atmosphere to hear it psh haha runs smoothly
