Night Noddle Markets are wicked, although over packed in Melbourne and Sydney, I think Melbourne's last night time noodle markets had bouncers on the gate to control how many people could get in.

 

I went to the first ones in Brisbane recently and they were great, not too packed and plenty of big names. You should push for one in Perth Nik.

 

Fat Noodle would be good to try though.

Good morning all. Happy October. A few dates I've noticed on my calendar:

• 4th - World Animal Day
• 5th - Daylight Saving Time begins
• 6th - Labour Day (public holiday in SA, ACT and NSW)
• 31st - Halloween (which seems to be getting bigger in Australia)

I've got the day off today. I need a haircut and might head to the beach to work on my sexy tan, just like Shiv is doing.

Baby snatch attempt on Sydney's Bay Walk

A man tried to snatch a baby from a mother while she was pushing a pram along the Bay Walk in Sydney's inner west.

Police said the woman was pushing her 14-month-old son along the road around 10.30am on Tuesday when a man approached her and grabbed hold of her pram.

The incident occurred at Timbrell Drive, Rodd Point, near the City West Link intersection.

The mother said the man tugged on the pram but she wrestled it off him with the help of a passing cyclist.

The man then ran off.

The woman has described the man as wearing a blue hooded jumper, pants, black gloves and an NRL bulldogs scarf wrapped around his face.

Burwood detectives have urged anyone with information to come forward, especially the man on the bike who helped the woman.
