cheers guys
the pedal was spungy that turned out to be the clutch slave. changed that.
it just doesnt engage like my oldclutch. i had a 97 impreza rx n it took off really quickly. this one is just reslly sluggish at engaging.
i guess it will do for 12 months n then onto turbo charged goodness!!!!!!
