Hi all,
Whilst under my car today I noticed a worrying amount oil loss from the rear main seal area. Now I have recently had both this and the oil cover plate replaced for the 2nd time in 8 months. It is becoming very apparent that this issue isn't result of dodgy servicing and may be something else. As such I was wondering what thoughts their are on why this may be occurring. I am led to believe it may be in relation to crankcase ventilation however I am unsure what parts control or assist in this process. Guidance would be loved.

I have a check engine code showing a bank 1 o2 sensor needs replacing. Question is where is bank 1 located and what reccomendations are their for buying after market o2 sensors as I would rather not pay Subaru $300+

Hi all,
I am looking for advice on a infrequent issue I am currently having with my B4 ADM engine. This problem being an apparent boost leak (or I think) which comes on during the later rev range when the 2nd turbo is activated. This leak is physically felt as the car looses considerable power and surges back and forth loosing and regaining boost all whilst being accompanied by a check engine light. However this leak (or what I think it is) is indiscriminate, in that at some points the second turbo spools and no boost loss is noticed, where as other times the boost loss is monumental. Being the noob I am, I am wondering if this issue could be something else entirely and if so what would you reccomendations be on the issue or its remedies. I obviously understand having the code checked would be a start, I however would like some knowledge before sending it to subaru to be checked.

Interested to see how many kilometres everyone is getting on their b4. I'm currently averaging 450 on a full tank and wondering if that is normal.

I am currently getting a check engine light on full boost in the b4. Their is no noticeable issue within the engine and it's performance at full boost only that the light will flicker on and off during the later rpm range. Any thoughts why?
