This question frequently gets asked on many Subaru forums so while we had one of each lying around today, Shaz and I lined them up for the ultimate test.

Looks good from a distance



Get up close and there are gaps everywhere



Yes, the bonnet was popped but you can see were it should sit flush with the bumper - there is a half inch gap



Comparison between the two different style headlights(this is before we rejouvenated Shaz's plastics



So there you have it. They definitely will not fit

(without changing the surrounding body parts)
