It genuinely pleases me to announce that i share the title of Best Regional Sports Photograph in the 2014 Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers Association Awards tonight. I was recognized for my pic of Mitchell Johnson at this year Ashes test in Perth. The Award was shared with Jim Aldersly of the Bendigo Advertiser for his pic pf Cricket (i know right!) under water. It makes all the long hours, the reading, the learning, the time away from family all worthwhile.

So who's joined the do not call register and gets bombarded with calls by the same number?? Probably 6 times between 5pm and 9pm and who knows how many while we are at work... Typically when we are putting Kaley to bed...
