haha, well he was going to just get a non-turbo. but even then he is still stuck in bug-eye land, or Gen3.

Found and bought one, after looking at a dozen POS ones, we stumbled on a 2000 WRX with 111k (not bug eye). Its in ok condition, paint isn't perfect, but overall its great.

See if you can get a Subaru Genuine B4 paper filter. They flow better then a K&N, but they only last around 5000kms.

yeah i have a panel filter, got mine for $65 from REPCO when they had a christmas deal on and 10% off K&N = WINNAR :D
