Hey All,

So I had a accident (First time ever). My left hand front fender took a side impact (no one was hurt thank god).... my car is fine, the damage was only a bent fender. After all the paper work and everything I drove off. I parked the car and then sat there and the engine started dying. Lumpy idel.

Went around the front OF the car and realized my boost tank saved my front end. explaining the lumpy idol it took the full hit and its now got a hole in the tank and its cracked.

My question to you all is will the BBOD or ???? change levels to suit the negitive pressure as the volume of the tank has now become smaller. ??? And if I don't get an OEM tank will a tank with lesser volume do the same job?

I'm not running a tank at the moment just a pair of multi grips its seems to be doing the job...

Any help would be great,Thanks Guys

It won't have the vacuum capacity to fully open the ecv without the tank, also it uses vacuum to hold the 2ndry turbo IC valve closed, so that valve will open itself when it runs out of vacuum.

What it u do? get a bit too keen with the new engine conversion??

LOL, I wish I could say that but it was in a car park cross section the other car had right of way but I could see around the corner creeper half way and by that time, bang my, fault.? what can you do!

That makes sence about the evac. Car stumbles at 4000 - 4500 rpm boost fails.
