Long time lurker, but never posted here. But decided to make a thread to document the process of my new car that I just picked up.

It's a 93 GX Rallye
5 Speed manual
fairly low kays

Don't really have any plans for it, just clean it up a bit and see how I go from there..

What's a members thread without pics?
Here are some quick ones, so don't mind the quality.
Excuse the filthy car, plan to wash it tomorrow.









Do suggest some budget mods guys

List of what I have planned for now

• Spray wiper arms - uber rusty atm
• Remove nudge bar - don't like the look and don't see the point either
• Interior steam clean - just to make sure there's no human slime
• Wash and wax - to get it looking as clean as possible

Thanks man Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.


Just quickly sanded down the rust and sprayed the wiper arms, they are beyond repair. Need new ones.

This was off carsales, there's one on gumtree too I think in the same colour.

Wouldn't really call it a steal, is a fairly steep price. But that's what I was prepared to pay, been in the market for so long for the right one to come up!

Haha I did think about it, but :L It's coming off for now, later down the track if I get bored of the look, I'll do it!
