Sad to ..read that the vinyl will not be completed :(

But nice news with the conversion, did you go for the wrx as mentioned or the sti, you never confirmed which :)

What cut have you gone with Sam?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Also sad that you didn't end up going through with the vinyl Sam.

But not sad at tarbot conversion. Also interested in what motor package you're going.

Cheers,
Shazza

Went with a 2004 wrx. Will be buying a Blouch TD05 18g and a tune to get some really good power gains.

For the time, effort and money I would have gone with an STi cut.. But it's your choice and i'm sure it will be enough power to get you going anyway :D

+1 on vinyl wrapping was starting to come together nicely man..

Rota's aye, interesting.
Look forward to updates.

Cheers,
Zach.

Not STi?

Will be sweeeeet when it's done :)

Japan continued with the 2.0L. Australia switched to 2.5L for emissions, so JDM cuts after 04 will still have the 2L.

Yeah the vinyl looked extremely TACKY (only word besides shit to describe it).
So i ripped it off and am getting quotes to respray the whole thing. Candy Red comes to mind, as well as wrx blue with the white rims. :)

Yeah, it would have been too expensive to get an STI engine from Japan though, I thought about it, and couldnt find any that I wanted...
I also want Ben to do the conversion, so decided that he could get the right cut for me.
The turbo I am getting, as well as the tune Im gonna go for is going to be more than what im looking for. :)

Cant wait for Ben to open NeoGarage. He said about a month, and then 2 weeks for the loom to come back...

I should organise a cruise like last time for when its finished and Im about to drive it home!!!

Rotas SHIPPED!!! Should be on the car tomorrow arvo!

This is the colour I'll be looking at going...

I have ordered a set of these time too.

Bought a set of the hollow ones of these wheel nuts in this colour...

And also needed some new number plates! :)
Went with these.

So these blue nuts and plates mean you're pretty keen on going with a blue colour then, does it?

I'm unsure how that'll look on an outback... Choose wisely!! :) Candy red or whatever appealed to me on a account of some gen1 wagons i've seen..

I think you're running wayy to much camber on the back sam.

Do you have aftermarket camber bolts in the rear? If not, you need to get some, and sort that out.

Rims look good though!

No. I need to get some. But haven't looked into it yet.
Any idea which ones to get? (link?)

You can either get the whiteline KTA124 4 x control arms with camber adjustment, or the camber correction bushings KCA399 will allow around 1 degree adjustment.

$540 vs $110.

If you're going turbo, and want to be able to adjust settings easily, i'd go the control arm kit personally. Why skimp out now?

Might have to go with the $540 ones. Your right! Why skimp on it now.
