Hey guy so i thought id share my project/daily with you guys. been to a couple of cruises/meets. car is coming along nicely now and i feel its ready for some scrutineering :D

I bought my RX nearly 3 years ago (in oct). for the first year it went primarily untouched, just tried to clean it up and restore some of the previous owners lack of care - they had kids too. except for the dealership I'm the second owner.
since buying it i have come to find out its a Special Edition. it has a Momo steering wheel, and i THINK some extras that other versions were only optional like sun roof etc.

Mods:

Outside Cosmetics =
- BBS LM style rims 19x8.5+35
- Ultrex front lip (new one coming)
- Yellow JDM fogs & LED's all round, including super white Xenons for headlights

- JDM HID's
- Debadged - sorta
- Legacy brake lights
- Matte blacked grill
- Boot lip
- Custom number plates (extra +7kw's)

Interior =
- Leather seats conversion - including door panels (for superior comfort and terrible for corners)
- new interior boot garnish
- New centre console
- New carpet (yet to install)
- Legacy door scuffs
- Alcantara shift boot + center console cover

Sound & Vision =
- Pioneer touch screen double din
- Pioneer 6" x4 350W speakers
- Kenwood 800W 12" Sub - soon to be replaced with Pioneer to match.

Other =
- bonnet struts
- BC coilovers
- B4 brake callipers + rotors
- Dixel M Pads (brilliant!)

- UEL Borla rep Headers

Future Mods:
> TINT!!
> LED custom brake lights (in progress- being built) - like that russian guy
> Remove some small dents

> front lip
> side skirts
> drag style rear wing
> window diffuser
> rear splash guard pods
> blitzen front and rear bars
> engine swap
> new plates
> cusco rear strut brace and other braces.
> whiteline bump steer correction kit
> brake stopper
> Stoptech 6pots
> braided lines
> whiteline upgraded sway bars
> more

Awesome photos. Car is looking good, looking forward to seeing it progress.

Quick question, why are you paying someone to Plasti Dip for you?

thanks,

umm mainly because i want it done nicely. and secondly because its pretty inexpensive. i did toil with doing it myself (I've pained plenty of thing). but i just want it to be a good quality job.

Not really. When I swapped my wheels over there were a little grimy. But the pads I have note brakes produce so little dust. It's amazing! In the 2 weeks I had them on with the silver wheels there was little to no dust. The oem ones would have had a cake full.

thats for sure. i wasn't sure what it would be like. ultimately this height will be what it will stay as when i get wheels, because as it stands i JUST get in the driveway at home, and the work driveway is pretty bad. but for shits and gigs i am going to dump it on its guts for a month or 2
