I bought a MY03 XS Forester about six weeks ago. In the last couple of days, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp light has come on when I am driving and stays constant when driving. After reading the book, it says that it is a problem with the emissions system. Is it a serious problem I need to get looked at straight away? Is it an expensive problem! Car has 90,000k's on the clock. Thanks

as morgan said, get it scanned right away as it could be many different things. where abouts are you located?
