Awesome, love the colour.

The 1st thing you should do is put those stickers back in the envelope and post them to me.

Hahahahahano :P

I've been in talks with a bloke who's been working for ages to produce 100% accurate reproductions though so I'll be giving him some high res photos with a ruler for scale and we should very soon see them for sale :)

Better.

Only difference between MY92 and MY93 looms was I had to depin these connectors and swap them over.

Cleaned out the HVAC while I was at it.

Back in

All back together :D

H4aLX95.jpg?1

Now for some actual updates.

Removed the shitty aftermarket aerial, had to cut it off as it had been crossthreaded(was actually loose in the hole)

td9Tj9A.jpg?1

Pinched the OEM aerial off the grey car(Need to get around to cleaning the boot jam too :S

RADA4GJ.jpg?1

Swapped out the fuel pump for my Walbro too. Previous owner said he'd had an OE replacement pump installed not long ago but, well, hmmm...

Feed line clamp was completely loose

VgaRKs3.jpg?1

Pump is a random Nissan pump

vdiYjcq.jpg?1

And pickup fitting is cracked

kKDfXpr.jpg?1

Seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.

Must've been monkeys working at whatever workshop he'd taken it to though cus I also noticed this

ykII0gL.jpg?1

Wasn't like that when I last looked so must've been working itself loose, other side was loose as well, both with completely random bolts and when I chucked in the bolts from the grey car I found out both the captive nuts are crossthreaded too. chucked a couple of nuts on the ends for now but not sure if I should helicoil, swap in another subframe or just leave it.

Chucked in the strut bars, swaybar endlinks, GC8 shocks and random red lowering springs I had in the other car and handling is far better than either car was prior. Those bits coupled with the Whiteline swaybars have made a huge difference. Turn in is great, both swaybars are set at their stiffest setting so now the car feels very neutral and predictable. Still need to swap over 4 Pots, Whiteline ALK and do the GC8 rack swap so I'm looking forward to how it's going to feel with all those on as well.

Chucked in the GC8 coils I grabbed as it was losing spark under boost as well as removing the turbosmart BOV and installing the stocker and installing my resonator delete. Power delivery is much improved now as well.

Finally, the shifter was super sloppy. When I had the interior out I notced the bush in the top of the shifter was completely falling apart and allowing huge amounts of movement.

So I pulled the shifter assemblies out of both cars, grabbed the best set of the blue plastic bushes and I now have an excellent feeling shifter. Whole car just seems to be getting better and better with minimal spending, I'm wrapt with how it's all turning out :D

As it stands now I think I'll finish swapping my nice bits off the grey car so I can sell it more or less stock, sort out the sunroof. Then I just need to decide if I want to go further into handling upgrades or start looking to a slight power increase, decisions, decisions.

On that note, I'll leave you all with a pretty poor artsy night shot :P

Sounds like like the place he was taking it had no idea. bush bolts done up with a rattle gun will do that, and given the other little surprises you found, I wouldnt be surprised if it was them.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Interior looks mint!

Part of the fun is finding others poor work and correcting it to spec. :)

Too true. Missus has bought me a black stitch oem leather gc/bd etc gearknob for christmas so that will help to tidy things up further once it arrives.

Minor up update. Swapped the 4 pots over from the grey car and a wheel swap ménage à trois ended up with me trading my MY00 GC8 stockies for some GD 5 spokes with meaty Pirelli P7s on em.

I still think 16s are the perfect size for a first gen but these are growing on me. I'll probably just move onto something else after the tyres have worn out though :P

Those rims are up there with the best and/or most popular Subaru OEM rim. I like 'em.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Looks very nice and tidy.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Would love a set of Regamaster Marquis Promoda but 16" 5x100 AND a reasonable price means I'm either asking for too much or waiting a very long time :P

Looks clean as, and I like the wheels that are on it. But then again nobody trust my taste in wheels because I wanted to put the xv rims on my outback haha.

Don't let other people tell you what to do. If they end up not looking good just sell them and continue your search.

That's what I was thinking can always sell and get another set If I don't like them. I was just surprised on how much hate they get.

I don't hate them, I just don't think they'd look good on a Gen 4. Try it and sell them for the same price you buy them for. Then you're back to square one plus knowing what they'll look like. You can even go the extra mile and post pics of them installed on the forum for everyone to compare later on.

Those gold rims look good too, Miguel. Whilst not a massive compliment, the car in that pic reminds me of an old 1991 Magna. My uncle had one and sold it to my cousin. If I remember correctly it had gold rims that looked similar to those gold ones.
