Is it me or do the windscreen wipers not return to the start position. I mean not sitting on the windscreen after turning them off.

Where do they rest for you?
I know on my car they sit just past the clear bit of my windscreen, but you can still see the top of the wiper if you know what I mean (not the wiper blade).
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Thank you I will check. CRUSIN mine does too, but I can still move them lower by hand closer to the bottom of the windscreen.

My wipers are extremely loose. When they are on the drivers side wiper will come so far up that it will come off the windscreen. Does anyone know why this is and if so how do I fix it?
Thanks in advanced.

Your wiper blade refills are probably too long. You can just remove the rubber bit from the wiper blade and cut a bit off to decrease their length.

Sorry, I think I explained it wrong, the drivers side blade will come up and go over the 'a pillar' of the car and there is also an extreme amount of play when the wipers are down. I've checked the lengths of them and they are correct, to my knowledge
When they are in the off position is there much room below the blade?
If so, take the whole arm off and reset the starting position a bit lower. Does that make sense?

This:
Gen 3s chew out wiper spindles. Grab a wiper and see how freeplay you have. Ive got them if you need one.
They also develop play in the wiper mechanism pivot points, I think.
What you end up with is play in the wiper relative to the motor... which is why they fly up over the A pillar (when at speed).

So will resetting the blades to the start position cure this?

It won't cure any slack that's developed in the system...

The wiper arm sits in a cog wheel. As Kong said, take the arm off and reseat it into a lower tooth.
See if that fixes it any.
