In my 2.5L which I've had for about 6 months the cruise control light has started flashing the whole time I'm driving. I've never used crusie control in the car. And also the malfunction light is on permanently. What is wrong with my car? Any advice is good advice. Cheers.

I have been told the Oxygen Sensor is gone and need a new one. Would that be correct? How much should I be paying to get a new one installed?

Have you called Subaru? Even if you don't get them to fix it, at least you'll know what it is and how serious it may/may not be...

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Subaru charge $269 for an O2 sensor. It can be sourced for cheaper. Try Repco or AutoPro in Sydney as they can sometimes undercut the big dealers reasonably well.

Is it just the cruise control light or the "check engine" light also?
