Can anyone tell me what models this alternator comes on? Hopefully Gen 2 RX?

Looks like a single square plug and the big terminal on top. I'm getting battery and handbrake light flashing randomly so looking for a spare In case mine is on its way out!

I think that so long as the plug has the same number of wires, they will work.

Confirmation is needed.

Maybe yours just has worn brushes?

That is also what I've heard about the wires, Jase, not 100 percent sure either though.

Are the worn bushes an easy repair, Jase?

Yup.

Rear housing off and you will see them. New ones need to be soldered in (some have brushes as part of the regulator) from what I recall of the Mitsubishi ones.

Just dress the field rings (the two rings the brushes rub on) with some fine emery. If they are badly grooved, machining in a lathe is the better option, but not critical for a DIY repair.

If I can find one in bits at work, I'll take some pics. (You will have to wait for the film to be developed though) :P
