G'day all,

With the Subarus I've seen on the forum and the number there seems to be in/from Bendigo I thought it a good idea for members from this area to post a pic of their ride - and if they see another subi in town a pic of the two rides together.

My rides shouldn't be too hard to pick in traffic:

My mother inlaw's ride that lives in benders:

While I'm from Shepp I still frequent benders and hope to move back at the end of 2015/early 2016 - I'm only in shepp for work!

So lets see those sweet sweet Subarus of Bendigo - and hopefully we'll see each other around the traps!

Regards

Bennie

I used to live in heathcote but just moves to Geelong late last year. Really surprised there seems to be quite a few subi enthusiasts up that way. only really saw maybe a couple of p plate imprezas getting about.

It would seem thy way but there is 100000 people here and I've only managed to spot Chris once, a lowered forester with nice mesh wheels (is on ozfoz) and a silver gt wagon with hanabi tail lights, pulled up next to it tonight actually but was in my sister's focus

That foz is quite nice. Always parked out the front of where the fruit shack used to be. I've also seen a lowered gen4 with stickers and what sounds like a muffler delete on Ps. We have tonnes of new model wrx and standard gen4 liberty turbos, but I haven't seen too many modded Subys

I think tuning is a crime of passion, or maybe a labour of love. Either way it furiates and excites me.

We have another addition to the suby family. The missus now has an rs like Stanley's, but it's lowered on black 18s. Black as well! So I have an all white suby and the missus has all black. I think I know that house Stanley, is that in Epsom?

I passed a lowered White Gen III Outback in Eaglehawk tonight, they followed me for a bit before turning off at the lights towards the schwepps centre. Anyone on here? Had the "old" three/three number plates.

It's good to cruise in Ruby Scoo again :D

Cheers

Digging up an "old" thread now that I'm back in Bendigo.

I've seen a number of different subarus around town. Firstly are three black imprezas of about the same hawkeye era from memory.

1 is a WRX I'm sure, I see it with L's on it regularly but am never quick enough to see if it's got the bonnet scoop, it's got the deep WRX exhaust note like it's a WRX. 2nd one I think is my neighbour's - EJ25 RS model, black rims and awesome UEL exhaust - sounds like a WRX too. 3rd one is a little further along my street in a shared town house, black, RS model I think (will confirm), green P plates, white lettering on the tyres with black rims. Looks like stock exhaust otherwise...

Gen 4 liberty sedan, black, lowered on Sternberg St. The other day it looked like it had that white writing on the window as if it had been down a the drags/track day.

One very sweet Gen1 wagon, white, tastefully lowered, modded exhaust, hubcaps!! Haven't worked out if it's auto or manual, my guess is auto. Looks sweet as!

Grey/ash silver WRX sedan, early model. Noticed this beside a mate's house the other week. Saw it being loaded onto a tilt tray outside our house the other day. Dunno what went wrong with it. The other day when I first saw it the owner came out from the house in it, I was with my Targa brumby, we casually nodded to each other like that scene in fight club with the office clerk while he's at the photocopier :P

I've found one RS sedan, red, stock other than rims by the look of it. I'm not going to divulge it's location as I've only ever seen it in the owner's driveway, been at the same place for at least 3 years by my knowledge - it's registered but have never seen it around town.

For the next two weeks my sister's Gen3 is living at our place, and can been seen on the street from time to time.

There's an orange late model WRX kicking around with a black spoiler too, I've seen this one a few times.

With uni in there are more new subarus with various levels of mods/tidiness, still keeping an eye out to properly identify these ones :D

Brumby's:

I've seen about 8 different ones around town not including the two targas in my family (my red one and my mother inlaw's white one):
- 1 red with red canopy, old guy driving;
- 1 red with white canopy, old guy driving. Both of these fellas waved/nodded with a big smile, as did I.
- 1 red with no canopy, had the '91/'92 brumby decals, driving by a fella about my age, lives near the cemetery, smiled and waved at eachother
- 1 red targa. Mrs El Freddo spotted this one. Apparently a few dings like mine and driven by a young looking fella
- 1 beige brumby, no canopy
- 1 white brumby, a bit rough looking but a brumby non the less!

They're the ones I can remember. I'm always keeping an eye out ;)

These are from the CBD and east bendigo areas ;)

Anyone else seen some "worthy" of a mention? or are any of the listed vehicles a member's ride?? Fess up! :P

Cheers
