Might go and replace discs, calipers and pads on the RB. I think the pads are down to the wear indicator.

Then I can start dressing up the original braques. :)

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Morning all.

I should check my front brakes actually. I have a feeling they're down to the wear indicators as well. I get a bit of squeaking when coming to a stop.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Do it, Gents.

BRAKE SATURDAY!

I grabbed a set of GTB discs & callipers off Bumdy when I was down there in Tas.

I was going to clean them up and sell them for him (from a more accessible part of the world lol)

I'm thinking now I'll just give him the cash and whack the vented rears on my RX.  May as well chuck the 294MM discs on the front while I'm at it.

Or put the front discs on Whitekong and piss off the slotted rotors.

Lots of options for a little more pedal.

Unfortunately I've gotta wait till payday to get replacements. So many damn engagements, weddings and birthdays lately, starting to really piss me off. It's that bad that I've had to rethink buying new tyres. At the moment all I can really afford is buying a new Federal Formoza FD2 to match my set, put the Bridgestone spare tyre back on the spare wheel and put all four on the new rims. They should last a while longer until I can replace them.

Sounds like a good plan though man.

Pfffft to the GTB 294mm rotors.

Get some real GTB 316mm rotors. They pop up over at .asn from time to time.

Such rotor.

Many stops.

Wow.

Yur!

Only watched first new episode really trying to space it out. It's a long weekend here but 13 episodes released on one day is a bit much.

First ep was good! That speech he does about the job thing with his staff, so good.

Yep I was bingewatching last night haha. Enjoying it so far!

I'm looking for a pair of those for Whitekong.  They're big arse impressive bastards compared to the little ones on an rx2.5 and even the slightly larger B4 callipers!

Bluekong can have the 4 pots from WK with normal discs & vented GTB discs at the rear. It will be a fair upgrade from what it is now.

I just don't like the pedal feel of the slotted rotors I have on WK at the moment. I'd prefer a normal discs I think.

Yeah it's a gdb sti brembo booster

Massive compared to the gen 2 gx one
Couldn't comment about the gen 4 one
I'd say it be adequate
