Hey all,

I fitted a whiteline front sway bar (http://www.whiteline...rt_number=BSF14) on my BD Lib,

Drives fine except for going over straight humps/dips/speed bumps.

I got under it and had another look, and the bottom of the swaybar is hitting this cross member brace? See pics.

Did I install it wrong?

Or is it just a bad product fitment?

Would puting some spacers between the plate and cross member be a suitable fix?

not upside down?

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

RX/Heritage? The 2.5 needs the turbo sway bar.

I found this out the hard way too.

Hey Kenbu,

I might be interested in that sway bar.  I have a BG7 Liberty 1998 and the handling is a bit boaty.

Would you still have the bar?

I do - but Whiteline said they'll refund it if I returned it.

I should still have one in the shed. Was a 22mm adjustable, I think I might even have some new bushes to suit too. PM if interested and I'll have a look.
