Pretty sure its been listed for a long time now. Looks allrite. Not much can be said without seeing it in person. If your interested, contact the seller and see if its even for sale still or if he's sold it.

Ben, that thing looks alright. The price is perhaps a wee bit steep although it has had an engine rebuild. It is a series 1 so things are getting a bit older on it, if you could find a series 2 gen2 (GTB for example) it may be worth any extra money. I would expect to pay that price for a 97 / 98 GTB nowdays, although perhaps I am a little out of touch with the import market. GTB / RSB (if you can find an RSB for sale in AU I will be VERY surprised) is a series 2 Legacy and they come with the EJ20R which is pretty much spot on to a V3 STi engine (forged, good flowing heads) and has a newer revised engine. Will result in better reliability and more power. The fact the engine in the one you've linked has been rebuilt should definitely not be ignored though - it could be quite a good pickup. Maybe see if the seller is willing to go lower on the price.

Fuuckkkk I wish I was in the market to buy now; these GTBs at those prices are so tempting now! Hope they're still there when I'm off my P's! GWINNY - Dylan is right though, don't discount that car because if its got a reconditioned, it may well be worth a look :)

Go the GT-B on ebay. Way better. I should know. Dylan not all GT-B's had R motors. If its an auto it will have an EJ20H motor. Thats what I have.

Autos have 190KW and manuals have 206KW right?

It all depends on what you want, and how much you want to spend. Hard to comment on both cars. But I'll give you my 2c worth, as I always like to give my 2c worth, even if it upsets anyone's feelings. Oh, and I own a gen2 GTB as well. Manual with the EJ20R forged motar. Check out both cars. Silver has some orright mods. Motor rebuild may be good. As long as its not overly noisy. Ask for receipts. The blue GTB despite looking nice, the owner doesn't know what he's rambling on about. As mentioned, the auto GTB doesn't have 206kw. It will if the AFM is orange stickered. But I'm 100% sure it won't be. Examine both cars for accident damage, and other aesthetics. Then play hardball with the price. Its a buyer's market out there.

Its always worth seeing as many cars as you can. I believe the best condition car is the one to go for. Who wants to patch up a body?
