Hi Guys,

Keeping it short, i don't want to tear the car apart to figure what this is so im hoping someone here knows what it is.
Right underneath the shifter surround I found a long loom coiled up, at the end is a plug and I have no idea what it is for. I can confirm though its probably not part of audio. Attached is a few pics.

Any help will be great.

Ive had a few Gen4's apart and that definitely doesnt look oem.

Remants of some after market equipment installed and removed prior to sale?

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

If it is aftermarket I'd love to have the anyconnect bluetooth stuff. That would be awesome
It runs into the carpet and what looks like under the the footwell or drivers seat.

I agree with Mark, doesn't look factory.

Might be worth finding the other end.

Nope. I did find out what the cable is. It belongs to the TMC box that is an optional device. Subaru installed the cable but not the TMC device as it isn't supported by SUNA Australia so won't work anyway, and yes it is a factory cable.

Traffic Message Channel. This system broadcasts traffic congestion and road blocks etc across a car network managed by SUNA. Not available in the facefit Libs in aus yet.

Interesting addition. Wouldn't the GPS/sat nav have all of that within it already? Sort of how Google Maps does it?
