Hey all

Recently my in car boot latch isn't working. When I pull it I can hear some sound but there isn't any resistance and the boot doesn't unlock.

Anyone come across this before?

Sounds like the ball end of the cable slipped off the release latch...happened to my gen3 at one stage

Look in at the latch as someone pulls the lever and if it is youll see a ball end..like a push bike brake lever ball floating around

Slip it back onto the lever....its very obvious where it goes
Oh wait boot doesnt unlock? Like with the key either? If so im stumped

There is a little switch on the latch in the boot that disables it, have you checked that?

Yep was gonna say this...but doesnt the key override that switch

Thanks guys. It unlocks with the key but not from inside the car.

I'll have a look for the switch tomorrow...
