Haha,

Nice job on the Brant Kong Boi.

Double bonus for you, destroy brant and get high off fumes.

No need to score ice now, win win.

I've got a spare brant setup for when you need another fix of those sweet sweet vengeance fumes.

New year update.

A few things have happened since we last spoke.  The car was damaged in a hail storm and I nearly cried....nearly.  It got peppered so there's lots of work to be done to fix the damage. Bonnet copped it the worst being aluminium. I'll swap the doors and guard. Roof's fine.
I'm not sure which way to go about this.  Paint it myself & risk getting an average finish or bite the bullet and pay to get it done professionally. The black trim around the windows has chunks missing and dents galore.

It brakes my heart every time I look at the car.

The miss fire at idle was sorted with a new MAF sensor.  I have a few spare ones which I swapped in & out but who would've thought they were all forked lol.

I picked up Patty's 4.44 gearbag & diff from his GTB but I'm yet to find the time or motivation to install them.

Scarles FMIC piping was acquired and installed using black 5 ply silicone joiners instead of the 3 ply blue silicone that came with the pipe kit.
The pipe kit itself is not a straight fit.  The first bend on the cold side needs to be cut and extended with a silicone coupler.  Fog lights had to be removed and the front bumper dam had to be trimmed extensively to fit the IC.

It all turned out to be quite a fiddly job.

Our Natho was installing his FMIC at the same time, so it was good & helpful chatting with him during & after the process. I think he helped me more than I helped him.

Apologies for the photo quality.  My new phone is shit.

The pod will be relocated to the guard at a later date and there's still a lot of tidying up to do.

Silicone turbo outlet pipes & black end caps pinched from my sons trampoline lol.

The overflow bottle was pinched from a Karcher.

Not sure what to do with the holes left from the fog lights.  I'll probably just leave them as is.

The IC is a smaller eBay spec unit & no cutting of the bumper reo was necessary.

As for how it runs.... I'll comment on that in depth once I've sorted out a few boost leaks & other running issues and also installed my HPF tuned ECU.

Sucks about the hail but the front mount action looks mad.

Mate sorry to hear about the hail punishment. That sort of stuff saps your will for garage time, hey

Tidy mate nice to see you could fit the cooler core without hacking up the safety feature, probably good for the piece of mind, would be for me anyway.
