Gents,

Just need clarification on something.

Are the Gen3 turbo top and bottom radiator hoses identical to that found on the GD WRX?

From what I can tell, the top hose appears to be the same, though I'm not 100% sure on the bottom.

I can't answer directly Jimbo but perhaps you could use this site to compare part numbers?

https://partsouq.com/

Or even download the Mackay hose catalogue and compare? (It will also give you the ID at each end of the hose.)

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

The silicone GD hoses on mine were a straight fit.  No trimming required,

... mmmm but numbers are different.

TT hose numbers match a Gen3 2.5NA top hose and GD WRX bottom hose.

4490 is the lib part - lengths slighty different and the lib has a extra bit of protection.

Hey mate. There's a pic in my thread comparing the stock Gen 3 and GD top hoses. The GD one suit my engine and rad combo better but both did technically work fine.

Gen 3 RX is on the left and GD one is on the right.
yeah it was too close for my liking. I don't even think I ran the engine with the RX hose.

There is 2 different ones for a rx, both mackay ones are above, the longer one is longer in the section around the pulley so it sticks out more.
