Airbag light on?

Airbag light illuminated on my00 get forester just wondering checking /clearing procedure if possible as well as any common causes on this model?

Has it has a wheel alignment or any work done to the steering recently?

 

Get the code read to start the diagnosis process.

Not that I know of.just bought car.
Put wrx suspension in it this morning and now code gone...weird.
Is it the same process as reading b4 codes on my00 gt forester?

If it just had some sort of rego inspection, the light is not permitted to be on.

 

Chances are the code is still there, its just the fault that's gone.

 

I don't think you will to able to read ABS codes (different module) using the same process as reading B4 (engine?) codes.
