Hi guys.

I'm installing a new silicone intake into my Liberty B4. Lots of the old plastic and rubber has gone brittle. Subsquently I could not remove breather pipe come off the manual gearbox without breaking it.

The breather pipe splits into two. One goes to the non-boost side of the intake pipe, the other goes directly into the intake manifold (boost side). The hose going to manifold has a one way valve.

Is it safe to simply plumb the breather pipe into only the intake pipe, eliminating the breather pipe coming from the manifold? Will there be any serious side effects?

It is going to be very difficult to find parts to replace the breather pipe going to the manifold.
