It was just a light film. The Impreza tails are so red. It wouldn't have been noticeable or defect worthy.
I was half way through when I sprayed the film with Windex instead of ISO by mistake and that forked everything lol.

Given what GenIVs are worth (and what houses are worth) it would be a hell of a downgrade.

You will lose more money in the depreciation of whatever you downgrade to than you will gain in selling your car, especially given you've dropped ~$6,000 on it this year.
I wouldn't buy in Syd at the moment, cheaper to rent. We afford to put away a lot while renting in the city. Money goes into shares and gold. We have retirement portfolio already and also afford 2 overseas trips a year with surplus.
Invest in your career not a house, then you can buy 5 houses.
Or gamble it all, 'safe' bets pay $1.30.

The market won't get any cheaper. It's just gonna plateau and get worse anyway. It's just a light thought at the moment after a small discussion we had. I'm sure I'll have the complete opposite feeling tomorrow morning when I wake up.
I actually really want to look at putting some money into gold. Any recommendations on how I go about doing that from your own experience? I get shares through work every year as well which is a bonus.

The market is predicted to fall by about 7% in March next year, it's peaked, and now it will slide, as it has done over the past few weeks.
Gold is also sliding down now so not a good time to buy, but when it hits ~US$1000/troy pound you should buy, as that will be the low point before it rises again, which will coincide with rates rises in US and Australia, squeezing investors and causing a flooded market in apartments, Melb and Brisbane are at the point of oversupply (almost) and Sydney is not far off.
I'm just biding my time, sitting on my cash. When all these gung-ho wannabe Trumps go bankrupt in a year or 2 it will be a buyer's market, but I still won't be buying in Sydney.

That tends to be word on the street in the bank as well. Fingers crossed that's the way it goes because I look to buy in Sydney.
I'll keep an eye out on gold. I've never bought shares before so I am completely unaware of how to go about it and what not. It may be something I look into whilst at work today anyway.
