No. Actually, I pressed out the pinion gears!!!! Just need to get 2 pipes re flared to suit the different styles in each rack (?????)

It's sussed out. But still don't know if it will work until I get the hard lines modified. Both racks have different style flares on the hard lines that go between the pinion housing and the rack cylinder. Strange.

I've never been up there before but apparently it's really, really nice. Our friends have a holiday home up there so that's where we'll be staying.
