No different sized CHRAs 73mm vs 90.8mm. Can use a TD04S/TD04/TD04L but will need to machine out for the larger turbine wheel.

His rede appears to be a late Gen2 GTB (or equivalent,)
the time and money spent hybridising turbo's, machining, balancing, porting pipes and chasing that 'nth' bit more
would be better spent plugging in a V3 STi ECU, swapping the exhaust manifolds and bolting on a VF34.
If the Sequential TT system worked properly and efficiently on the boxer engine, Subaru would have stuck with it.

The VF25, VF26 and VF33 (all primary turbos) are rebuildable plus comp and turbine wheel upgradable. The VF27 BB core can be replaced with one from VF25/26. The VF27 comp cover will need base shave of 1mm
