So a small piece of either hard cardboard or mdf that was out on the highway flew up in the vortex of a passing truck and decided to slam into the front of my car.

Damage was super minimal which is fortunate however it annihilated the plastic bonnet guard (02 RS Bugeye) and with it destroying my SubyClub sticker.

I removed what was left of the bonnet guard and will probably go about sourcing one on ebay or off a wreck.

However with the guard removed there is residue of it left on the bonnet. This is from the protectors placed under the metal clips that held the guard on.

Does anyone have a good cleaning technique that will get this stuff off the bonnet?
