Since there are so many options and designs around these LED headlights.
This guide may have things that you will not need to do and can be applied to any car.
As always, Read the instructions with the kit.

I am doing this on my GE 2011 Impreza.

1:
Grab some tools, I needed a 10mm spanner, 11mm socket, A 3mm flat head screw driver(for popping off air intake duct clips). A multimeter and a work light(not pictured).

2:
Grab your LED kit and place it some where, I ended up resting mine on some ramps

3:
Disconnect and remove the battery(If need be) on my impreza and on my previous car this helped alot when working on the headlights.

4: I removed the air intake duct cover, if your car does not need this step, skip it

5:
I removed the old bulb and placed the collar from the kit in the housing and placed the clip in place

6:
Install the LED bulb into the collar and make sure it is tight

7:
Connect the LED driver to the H7 connector and the LED bulb

8:
If you can tuck the wires away, otherwise you will need to make a hole in the dust cover

How do you find the LED versions?

Have you used HIDs before?

How do they compare?

Never used HIDs so cant compare.

One of the collars for the bulbs got damaged so it doesnt sit correctly so I have removed them as I do not want the cops giving me a ticket for having non functioning headlights.

Got to get the collar replaced before i reinstall.

Also make sure you get them from a good place where you know the lumen rating is what they say it is to avoid headaches.

And dont go overboard with the color temp.

The closer to 4300k the less lightly the cops will target you,

And I only advise the use of LEDs in projector housings.
