I had to change one of the oil filled caster bushes on mine along with my timing belt service last week. I walked away $3 shy of $1500 lol. I feel like it needs a wheel alignment this weekend, the mechanic doesn't have the capability.

For reference one of those bushes is $220 from Subaru, he only charged me $30 to fit it.

Yeah and I had already done the bulk of the 200k service 5 months ago, we decided to delay the timing belt kit due to the cost of that service. Which came in just shy of a grand.

On Sunday I got stuck in a carwash, I never use them, but was lazy and it was just dusty. Its a brushless automatic one. It sprayed soap around the car. Then just stopped with the arm in front. Had to reverse out, left a message with the owner (its unmanned on weekends) and they've given me a coupon code for a free wash. He reckons it touched my car, but I have a photo of it at least a foot away. Electrical fault or something. I then had to drive home and wash dried soap and dust off my car, on a weekend when I really didn't have the time or energy for it.

Yeah those drive through car washes are only good to rinse your car before a proper wash. Same as those DIY ones with the hoses, I forking laugh when I see people scrubbing their panels with that foaming brush, the same brush people use on their wheels.... so many scratches.

I need a car wash but storms.

I cringe every time I see people using those brushes for their car.

Wouldn't catch me dead using one.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I've used the brush on my girlfriends Civic. She never washes that car unless its visibly covered in bird crap. But it is just a silver civic with minor hail damage and a smashed rear quarter and taillight because her brother can't drive for shit.. so.. meh.

Hello,

Jase, just do it FFS.  Fly up for HVC, you'll bloody love it man!

There's so many brothers here who's rides you can pick n choose to go in on the day, there's so many places you can crash at, there's so many cubts that will pick you up & drop you off at the airport.

forking put your foot down, cubt.

You forking need this and you know it!

No pressure, mate  :drinks:

I hear you brother and yes, I do need this.

I have no doubt whatsoever that the SC crew will unite, but I am now working the Friday.  I could have refused, but at the moment I need as much work as I can due to my increased expenses.

You're welcome to come in the Hyundai film car. It's boring AF, but has comfy suspension.

Happy to have you in my wagon, and I don't mind picking you up and dropping you off at the airport either. ;)

Cheers guys, much appreciated.

Pedders (Hahaha) do a solid one for around $100 IIRC, I fitted some to the ex's RX a while ago. Seem OK but I would obviously prefer OEM but these seem to do the job without any creaks or groans.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Epic day today.

Got confused this morning. Thought I clicked on Gary's build thread.

You'd still be reading if it was my build topic.
