Just wondering on the 2012 Subaru stil, the fuel lines that come from the tank are metal then they turn into rubber near where the strut tower is...

Are the OEM rubber hoses e85 compaitable?

Officially.....id say no

Will it affect them one bit? Nope

I know of so many people including me who run e85 on oem lines with no issue whatsoever

Any good tuner will tell you the same

Practically no one bothers with a *full* e85 safe conversion. You have to take the tank out and replace the venturi line (3/8") across the top of the tank, the send and return joiners at the pump access lid and the short houses between tank and hard lines. Then there are the wires in the tank to the pump - they should be PTFE shielded and fittings should be stainless steel or brass. Also regular heat shrink isn't e85 safe. Anodized fittings are only safe as long as the anodizing lasts, which on the $4 aliexpress gear won't be real long...
And what about the big rubber U-bend at the bottom of the filler pipe? The evaporator system hoses, do they matter?

And so on and so on.

It's up to you how far you want to go. Personally I'm using e85 approved materials on all send lines and all parts in the tank.

Those numbers dont mean anything to me personally

But as said above "all oem fuel lines" are not e85 rated...and theres a lot of them as Andrew stated

But they will be fine, A ok, spot on, beautiful, Sweet as, choice bro....as proven by the many builds using them on e85 without issue

The one across the top of the tank, it's slightly smaller than the others on my two tanks. Looks like 6mm vs regular 8mm. Shrug?! Either way, it can stay put haha :)
