Buying a brand new car, even if it's a $14k Kia is like burning money.

Buy a demo from the dealer.

Fixed the beefwhore. A can of upper engine cleaner was all I needed. I had been trusting the 'Subaru Specialist' mechanic I use to do it every 10k, but apparently he hasn't been. I also found that the 7psi boost cut would only happen only when the A/C was on, maybe it was causing too much load. Fixed the pinging, for now.

On Saturday I almost traded it on a Prado. But I need to think about it. They will give me about $4k for a trade. My girlfriend wants me to lowball the dealer more, my father loved the car and just wants me to buy it. Needs a small dent fixed on the roof, but otherwise its a perfect start for my 4x4 project. Weird seeing a 4500 redline on the dash though.

I'll hopefully be doing the house business late next year. Still some shit to sort out. I have the deposit for it, but the more I can save the better.

Most definitely. My uncle is a manager at Toyota in Canberra and Jess has family that works for Tynan. Demo vehicles are a really good option. Still brand new with such small mileage.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Yep, it's a wobbly market, or as we like to call it an Aeroplane Jelly market.

And by we I mean my coffee table and I.

He's a hoot.

And by hoot I mean he's done hard time.

Is that why everyone sits in the right lane here?

Buy a demo from the dealer.

A 3 year old second hand one is an even better option IMO.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

One owner under 10k kms per year if you can manage it.

Can't stand 2yo cars with >100k kms. Like WTF, did you drive to the moon?

I saved around 7k buying my demo Impreza. 18k on the clock.

I don't think I could actually bring myself to buy a spanker unless I won lotto.
Anything with under 30k is still a new car IMO.
