chris is gunna get a sports wagon, I can feel it in my waters.

Maybeeee...

He was inquiring about a Euro the other day, asking for me feedback :)

Do it !!!

So we can start a Euro sub-forum here lol

and, Maybeee...

I seriously don't know what to get at the moment. I change my mind daily.

I am leaning towards a Euro, probably an 06/07 model with Sat Nav.
The only sportswagon I would get are a Calais V or SS V. They might be a bit out of my price range though.

Before I do anything I need to figure out what to do with the Lib. Don't know whether to return it to stock or try to sell it as is or just to trade it in....

trade it. You'd never sell it for much more than trade anyway.

Not necessarily. At trade I could probably get about 11k for it while through selling privately I could get about 15k for it.

For those that are insterested... I went and test drove an 08 Euro. (CL model, old shape). I must say that it was a very nice car to drive. Everything happened so, easily. Although the driving position is 500 times better than the Liberty, It may still be on the small side. Also checked out a VE, Omega Spec. Very smooth and comfortable, but maybe a little pedestrian for my liking, but the sportswagen component is a major draw card for me at the moment. This is where another contender enters the ring... Ford Falcon G6 with ipod/bluetooth/sat nave connectivity. I've heard great things about the FG series and have only researched online. I must say that given the price you can pick these things up for, I am quite looking forward to going to check one out in the flesh. Bizarre that I didn't consider one before, I just assumed that they would be more expensive than what they are.

hahaha. Yeah, I was really surprised by the price of a new Commodore too. The falcons are nice cars, I just can't stand the front end on the "Luxo" models. They look like they have down syndrome IMO.

I drove an FG XR6 for a week a couple months ago and was very impressed, shat all over the VE Omega ive driven a fair bit. Been years since ive driven a falcon/commodore that ive thought i could actually own, the VE was close but i'd have an FG for sure. Keen to hear how they go reliability wise given some of fords recent efforts though.

Ive driven a number of VE sedan variants from base Omega gas model to Clubsport. I would NEVER buy a VE sedan far too many blind spots and lack lustre performance from the 6 banger. The interior is still poorly made and put together. After 15 years, I now have 3 weeks left of my career at Holden.

Amazing bewb avatar... Almost as mesmorising as Dylan's. Well Mark, if anyone is going to claim to know anything about the Commodes, it's be you. Might have to scratch it off the list. Hope they are throwing a massive going away party for you.
