Installed Windows 7 last night, all i can say is, wow. what an improvement.. still only in rc1 but havent had any issues bar a very minor one with a tv tuner. everything else is great though. so much cleaner/easier to use. give it a try if you have the chance.

I installed the lastest version of 7 on my netbook about 3 weeks ago,
and i havnt had one problem with it! Was very surprised, shits all over vista...
The taskbar icons started to shit me off tho, so i changed them back to text.

You can download it direct from microsoft, and they will give you a free product key if you have an hotmail or live email address.

Meh.. Macs are good for graphic design and video editing e.t.c. Or, at least they were... PC's are catching up fast, if not caught up. "7" looks like it'll be a pretty sweet interface. I reckon the main benefits of a PC are that I can build my own and make into a useless or as powerful a machine as I want, I can replace broken components quickly and cheaply... Oh, that "free" product key is available to everyone. Come March next year the will start shutting your machine down every hour until you purchase a real key. The one that is available now is purely for beta testing.
