Soop.. I wanna paint my wheels black.. any tips for me? I wanna get them done by my beater.. Should I sand them down first and prep them with primer?

Get a spray painter to do them and you don't have to worry.
Big difference between a Panel beater and a spray painter.

Its like asking an electrician to fix your gear box :). (w00t for work intrawebs)

When I say Beater" I mean the shop.. a shop that consists of Panel Beaters and Painters LOL..

Just get them to do the whole thing mate. It will benifit yourself a lot more in the long run. It would only cost you $100~ per wheel for 2k black. Either that or get them powder coated (durability) for around $50-$75 per wheel. They can make powder coat pretty good these days, very glossy and little to no peel.

Well.. i'll be getting mates rates on the wheels, and also getting my side skirts re-painted, the previous owner must have worn size 16 work leathers with high heels, as he kicked the F*** out of them on the drivers side getting in and out of the car.. it's not noticeable, but I know its there... and thats all that matters!

Thats sucks that they have done that :(, I want the front end of my car resprayed and my side skirts :) I'm on the saving path at the moment and can't work out if I want a set of nice rims or to get some things touched up on my car....
