Anyone in Melb want some BBS rims? http://cgi.ebay.com....em=300278621283 ending in 30 mins and look like they'll finish up pretty cheap.

If they weren't pickup only I'd snap them up.

Likewise, although I'd prefer those Legacy wheels like what Soop has/had on his GX....

p.s. - why's this in Soop's SS POWAARRRR thread?

This weekends lookin pretty busy, although there may be a window of opportunity on Sunday morning if I'm not too hungover from whatever it is I get up too... TBH I'm not sure if getting a new exhaust for my car is a priority for me atm. Although for the right price, I might bite the bullet and go ahead with it. Just so I know - is yours mandrel or press bent? Its 2.25" isn't it?

Mmm yeah, I've been thinking about the noise as well. Its too loud for liking. I spose I could get a different muffler, resonator etc.... but even so

Probably better off getting a full custom system made up to your wants and needs to be honest mate. That way if you don't like it you can let the place know and they can try to fix it with you.

Well yeah, exactly. Best do it once, and do it properly. Plus it'll be cheaper and more efficient if I do 'the lot' at once. Extractors, exhaust etc...

it won't sound farty on your car, it only sounds shit on my car cos my car is running badly... it's still worth giving it a try isn't it?? it's 2.25 press bent, with a 2 inch sports muffler... you can't really hear the exhaust inside the car, unless you flatten your foot against the firewall... even then, most of the noise my car makes is the intake... it won't and doesn't drone... i swear it to you... either way... it's worth a try is it not?

No wonder it sounds like crap, you might as well have kept the standard exhaust with a 2.25press bent!!!! It'll be acting the same as standard exhaust with the bloody muffler cut out! 2.25 mandrel bent. 2.50 press bent. So that when the pipe is pressed it only compresses down to 2.25. For NA's this works well because the slight restriction actually speeds up the gas flow by greating a high pressure zone on the entrance to the bend and a low pressure zone on the exit. Google "Venturi". Shiv, I wouldn't waste your time with that exhaust.

I know it doesn't drone from personal experience. Nevertheless, it is too loud for my liking. And more importantly - my priorities have changed for my car recently and now a new exhaust system isn't up there. Sorry man...

And the last thing I'm going to do is waste your time putting your exhaust on my car to see how it is if I know I'm not going to buy it.

However, I am still keen on that CD stacker :P And my weekends cleared up, yey! So msg me here or give me a buzz if you've got some time for me to pick that stacker up, at your convenience.
