First day of 25 deg temps. How good is it? Got home from work, sat outside drinking beer, stereo cranking and cleaned my boards in anticipation of a great few weeks of surf ahead. BRING ON SUMMER!

Good, went on a car cruise and gave the car an opportunity to see how it drives after a retune (focusing on lowend and midrange). Still haven't adjusted peak boost, but upped the boost on lower rpm and lower throttle positions. Drives MUCH nicer and the gear kickdown is much more aggressive. Got photos too... including a nice infrared photo of my car, will host it up when I get a chance.

Got dyno?

No because it was all partial load stuff - it won't show up on the dyno but will show up on the road.
We did a fair bit of datalogging on the freeway as well to determine what we need - load goes from 0.85q2 to 2.1 so we adjusted the fuel delivery on the map.

Dyno sheet figures are meaningless in that it's not transferrable from one day to the next, from one dyno to another and therefore not from one car to another. It's useful only as a relative start/finish comparison.

Another point to make is that the stock ECU on the gen4 Liberty is by far more powerful and more than adequate for most applications - four fuel maps (two base maps and two detonation maps), two boost maps, two ignition maps - basically two of everything.

What's the weather like? It'd be better than summer, and it's probably your tune (or lack thereof?) that would afect it.

Far from it..

it was 29 degrees on saturday..

I don't care what car you have, if it has a turbo.. your not going anywhere in that dry heat...

I have a tune, tune works fine, just not combined with heat.

Heat = Bad, one thing I am not looking forward to is having my car back just in time for it to run like shit :( Missed the last 2 weeks of cooler weather for the year :( :( sad.
