I have a 2004 Liberty that I bought off a guy in Ballarat on June 13th. When I stop at the traffic lights in Geelong 2 days later, the whole car stalls. Embarrassed, I try to start it up which takes six seconds to do. Now the check engine light has come on and the cruise control light is flashing. Keep in mind, my dad squirted the engine with a high pressure cleaner, so that might be the reason for it? Someone help please.

It's all good. Took it to a mechanic in East Geelong and it was a sensor, he also told us not to wash under the bonnet. (ahem) Dad.

Our 04 Liberty went into 'limp mode' , it's an auto and turned it was blown brake lights as a cause and a fix. Anyone else encountered that?
