Hey Shazums and Gazmotron,

I have been given approval to purchase a gaming machine for myself.

Can't say I've ever had a PC, not since 1998, so suggestions on shops, websites and setups would be good.

Thanks lads.

Do you want pre built, or are you going to build yourself?

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Not too concerned. Would prefer pre-built because lazy, but if assembly required, got a mate who likes to do this stuff.

You're better off building yourself. Heaps cheaper + you get to choose awesome cases and stuff.

Check out PCMasterRace on Reddit, they have some good ideas, but I was using pcpartpicker.com and suss that out.

THIS is a pretty top end build.

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RhZJbj

i7 4.0ghz, 32gb ram, GTX1080 video card and a SSD. That will run every current gen game at 1080 or above on ultra settings no worries. Will also run VR no problem. Might wanna tack on another hard drive (just a basic slow 1tb jobbie or something) as the SSD is only 250gb.

But that is $2600 lol

Could prob drop down to 16gb ram, maybe swap the 1080 out for a Radeon RX480 or something similar to make it cheaper. I would stick with the i7 6700 though.

i7 6700.

Awesome, will keep that in mind. Budget for a complete package is about 2k, which includes peripherals.

Water-cooled worth it?

I like the 32GB ram though... crazy!

Point is, same concept as a water cooled computer.

Engine = cpu
water = the forking water.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Diesel.

Just make sure you use Vin Diesel, as it burns at a higher octane

Then I'll live my life a quarter cycle at a time, and for those 10 nanoseconds or less, I'm free
