Hey guys,

My key battery died and i replaced with the same model battery as i knew it worked. Had a read on how to reprogram from morgans post and many others but nothing seems to be working.

Has anyone had any luck with a gen 3 outback?

Hope someone can save me some serious frustration.....and cash also. lol

Thanks in advance.

So you replaced just the key battery?

That won't require reprogramming.

I believe that changing batteries in your key fob won't require any sort of reprogramming unless you don't replace the battery within a certain time. I don't know what Gen or anything but food for thought I guess.
