Hello guys! This is my first post here! I've recently bought myself a Gen 3 B4 and I love it to bits. Subaru fan for life. But one question, in the picture I attached, the bottom bit of that front bumper, I've seen photos of other gen 3 libertys having it completely black, and I think it looks hella good. I was wondering if anyone knew how they did that? Also for the base of that bit of the bumper, can I get like a black sticker (or like a carbon fiber sticker) of some sort to make that bit a bit blacker? Haha anyways, hope you guys understand what I mean! Thank you! Suby Cllub Post.jpg 123.81KB 17 downloads

Welcome to the forum mate. Pretty sure Plastidip would be the easiest option as Rosberg mentioned, however it may not last anywhere near as long as you'd expect in that area of the car as it's prone to stone chips and general wear and tear.
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille
Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

My mate used an old black satin bed sheet that worked an absolute treat.
Best bit was 0 stone chips as is the case with most other ways.
Let me know if you want any more details on how she installed it (I'll have to ask her)?

Paint or plastidip will be your best bet.

Hey Guys! Thanks for your replies! Plasti Dip sounds amazing haha I just googled it. I might try that option since I'm not too sure if the black will look that good haha, since my car is silver and not white. But thank you for the suggestion!
Also one more thing (not too important but still a suggestion), where can you buy like a front lip for the B4, like a relatively cheaper that could be like, generic for most Subarus in a sense? I'm really a massive noob haha. Thank you!

It's hard to get a genuine lip for the Liberty/B4/Legacy and tbh you'll probably just bottom it out eventually anyway. They don't make an aftermarket one directly for it these days, but you can fit a WRX one and I think you just cut the ends off at the wheel arches if necessary.

What was the thread count on that one Bump? Will Egyptian cotton work as well?
41 and Egyptian cotton isn't as good as Afghani.

plastidip is aids -- but not a bad option for a 'look see' before you commit to paint or similar.

Haha classic Mark.... 'Why not just import monster a rare JDM front bar?'
Plastidip is aids, it will peel and look shitty after a while, but it will give you a good idea of what it will look like. Once you feel like it you can then strip the plastidip off (horrendous task) and get it painted professionally.
