Hey guys I'm looking to get a catback exhaust system for my non turbo impreza. I'm just wondering how much this will improve the sound and whether or not I should get uel headers as well? Just want that boxer rumble, cheers

Your car has equal length headers so will never have the boxer rumble without changing to uel's

Alright thanks, so how would it sound with just the catback exhaust with no uel headers?

i've put blast pipes on my car with equal length and it sounds like a loud Honda except with a slightly deeper tone.

I ended up just getting the catback exhaust system without the uel headers and it sounds amazing, only cost $250 as well

Are you sure you don't already have uel extractors?
I don't know what model Subaru went to equal length extractors (I don't play with those models) but if your vehicle now has a nice rumble it means you had a factory set already, which go ok for the subi beat with a half decent cat back exhaust.
Cheers
