Thanks guys, I think I got very lucky with my purchase of the car.

It's got ABS and the box is from a JDM bugeye STI which I'm hoping means the least amount of trouble with the speed sensor! It's just missing a front diff stub which I'm hoping I can just grab out of a 5 speed or if not an auto box.

I'll be keeping ABS working for now as it might come in handy to have with some of the drivers around Sydney... I do plan on tracking it a few times so I guess I'll see how it goes

6 speed should be awesome man. This thing looked clean as at the MCM meet!

i remember seeing you roll in, your front number plate was only just holding on my one bolt!

Finally got a sunny weekend and fitted my Legacy tail lights that have been in my room the last 8 months..

Ah yes man, one of the screws must have fallen off on the way there. Has since been fixed :)

Man the rear shot of the car, the paint looks amazing!

6 Speed installed (mostly)

Picked up a Bugeye box off Dja, gathered a few extra parts and then started the task of removing everything while trying to deal with the weather..

All that's currently left is to bleed the brakes and clutch, try figuring out where a decent amount of bolts I have spare go back to and double checking everything works as it should.

Ended up pulling the 6 speed twice after the first install due to me installing the 5 speed fork instead of using the 6 speed fork.. I'm using mostly 5 speed gear, only the fork is from the 6 speed.

Unless there's a huge problem it'll all be done and ready for HVC

Excuse the dirty garage, it's due for a big cleanup

The 6 speed really is so much larger than the 5 speed.

The wags is looking great Tim.

See ya at HVC.
