Hi All

 

I have a 98 impreza gx that i have built in my garage and purrs like a dream but it needs more grunt so i was thinking about doing an engine swap from what it has Ej201 to a Ej205 and i was wondering if its as easy as a engine loom and ecu swap or is there more to do and is it worth doing????

What generation EJ205? From a MY01 onwards will need a lot of wiring work as they are very different cars. An EJ205 from a MY99 or MY00 will swap over but there will be 1,000,000 little things to go with it. May as buy a WRX to be honest
