Hello,

Recently bought and installed Chinese Head Unit (Android). Very happy with quality and features. The only problem is that its not a proper 2DIN size and it has 2 big gaps on either side. Standard 2DIN facia kits do not solve the problem. Some custom work will be required. Any ideas how to best approach this problem? Photo is attached

Thanks in advance

Sell, buy proper 2 din.

I did consider it, but proper 2DIN with half the features would cost almost double.

You could 3d Print something.

Is this a SH foz or 08+ Impreza? Chances are someone has done this before and has a solution, just need to google the shit out it.

- find some flat piece of plastic (acrylic, old computer pieces, etc) - cut to shape and paint satin black.
- fab up some fibreglass on a piece of glass (flat) or a mould to make it easy to fix into the space. Paint, or use carbon if you want fast sexy time.
- even a piece of plywood sanded flat, painted with filler/primer and satin black would do the job.

Does this fit the bill if cut up a bit ?

Wow, that could actually work. Just need to cut to size. Might give it a go. They dont ship to AU, but ebay has something similar
