Hello fellow Subaru enthusiasts,

 

Have inherited a Subaru EJ25 engined kit car and have trouble diagnosing wiring problems.

 

The ECU installed onto custom wiring loom has numbers ..

 

"K1" "22611AK660" "112300-1511" "DENSO"

 

.. most wiring diagrams sources want car manuf date, or vin #.

 

Can find plenty of ECU pinouts from US owners club, but none that match.

 

Also, how do I tell what year the actual engine is from?.

2005 Subaru Forester non turbo 07/2005-02/2008

Strangely enough , searching online and even buying supposed service manual from EB online to suit 2005-2007 EJ25 SOHC Forester / Impreza, non-turbo diagrams,

  the pages marked "Engine Control Manual (ECM) I/O Signal - electrical specification, show 3 different pinout legends, supposedly for my 4-connector 22611AK660" ECU.

 

 

 

Three different pages , each with correct shape B134 B135 B136 and B137 connectors, yet pin functions vary.

UPDATE- subscribed to STIS 3-day pass. 

 

Put in my Australian VIN - says "Invalid"

 

Testing with USA 2006 Forester VIN - that returned as expected list of documents.

 

Got hold of 2006 Forester Service Manual ( 3000+ pages). 

 

Tried putting in "22611AK660" .. no result.

 

Anyone else have joy searching for this ECU pinouts?

Is there a list on ECU's that you used to  able to match ECU part number to model type and year ? A master list if you will ??
