Hi guys,

Just joined up and have a few questions!

I have a 97 GC8 import from Japan i bought recently and its great. Its my daily but I would like to take it to the track every now and then, both eastern creek and wakefield.

I am concerned about driving it hard all day round a track as I obviously don't want to break anything or blow it up. I used to track an mx5 but that motor wasn't stressed at all and incredibly bullet proof.

The car drives really well at the moment, 135,000km and doesnt have any problems at all (touch wood) and is completely stock apart from a vf34 and whiteline sway bars

I have seen that oil moving round seems to cause most of the problems so I think i will get a baffle plate for the sump to prevent oil moving round too much.

What other reliability mods can I do to prevent things going bang that don't require a retune or a millions bucks?

Thanks guys :)

Alloy radiator to keep things cool, full service including timing belt and so on. Leaving it on stock boost should keep it pretty reliable too.

Post some pics for us :)
