I don't like the fact that new posts are changing all the time, and that when I post in a thread, it doesn't show me that its a newly posted thread?

I don't like the new layout. It doesn't optimise space (in tems of text) very well. Font size probably more suited to those who are sight impaired.

Someone care to tell me what was wrong with the old software/forums?

Only thing I found wrong in the old software was the chat. And that still doesn't work.

Always end up with a blurry version of my old profile pic??

it seems to be taking a while for the image to update in your avatar. upload and wait a little bit and it'll change. don't know why that is though??

Will look in to this for all of you that are having difficulties uploading pictures.

@Alex - will see what I can do about the fonts mate. Software is updated for a reason, generally: bugs, security risks, improvements, or added features are some of the reasons why this is done - some of these reasons apply for us too, which is why we decided to migrate.

Alright. Front page links on the latest posts / topics box have been fixed, the little icon to go to unread posts will work, as will clicking on the topic title.

This box now no longer shows topics from the off-topic area (as it was previously).

I will keep an eye on the profile picture situation, but please let me know if you notice any other problems or bugs (I am sure there will be a few!).

Hi Alex,

when I post in a thread, it doesn't show me that its a newly posted thread?

If you look at the panel to the left of the new content window, you will see multiple options for how new content is displayed. The default setting is 'content I have not read' - which is possibly accurate for some people, but in theory a post that one has written would be considered a post that one has read.

I have mine set to 'last 24 hours' - this way it acts exactly the same as the previous version.

At the bottom of that list, you'll find some nifty other ways of displaying the new content which means you can tailor it to suit what you're interested in! How awesome is that!
